The most inspiring thing I have taken away from Ei Arakawa's Joy of Life worshop held in the Tanks at Tate Modern last Thursday is this collaborative spirit that underpinned these movements, giving rise to deeply creative outcomes.
Working in isolation brings limitation.
Another - deeper and probably more enduring - experience was the one generated by Tino Seghal in the Turbine Hall. More on that later as I'm still working through my thoughts and emotions, but the concept of 'art as an experience' - and that experience can be engendered by sculpture - is hugely inspiring.
