Now Fired

Following on from my preceding post showing the pre-firing images ( Form-Finding - Pre-Firing 17 April ) here are some images of the fired piece; from different angles and in different positions.

What is becoming increasingly striking in these form-finding pieces (see the reference in the previous post for an insight into the beginnings of this form-finding process) is how different the piece looks viewed from different perspectives. Increasingly so because my understanding of the process and the material is continually deepening and my grasp of the technique and ease of gesture continue to grow.

Form-Finding - Pre-Firing

Another white clay form-finding piece (created according to the form-finding process, as per the posts of 18 August, 24 September, and 19 November 2013), taken in different positions and from different angles.
